Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC is pleased to announce it now offers 3 Full Hook-Up Lakeview Campsites.

Site 1 is best suited for Campers 25 Feet or Less.

Location: These 3 remodeled and re-opened sites (July 2026) are on the South Shore of Douglas Lake’s Main Channel in the area known as Gator Point, sharing the same property as Iris & Sweet William Studios, Trillium, Clover, and the Dogwood Log Tiny Home. If part of your family needs a cabin and part has a camper, we’ve got you covered!

Amenities: Features lake views, full hookups (20, 30, and 50-amp power, water, and sewer), lake access at our on-property boat launch.

Requirements: Rigs must be entirely self-contained with a full bathroom, as no public bathhouse is provided on-site.

Water Access: Direct access to Douglas Lake from our on-property boat launch location.

Boat Slips: Dedicated boat slips are available (subject to availability).

No Campfires are allowed on the campsites: Enjoy campfire-free campsites designed for outdoor relaxation with out the smouldering smoke that houvers in some campgrounds.

All sites are back-in, with Site 1 having the best turning radius but being the shortest site.  This site also sits higher than the other 2.

House Rules & Policies
Quiet Time: Observed daily from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

Age Requirement: Primary renter must be 25 years old or older. Senior Discounts are available.

Occupancy Limits: Maximum of 6 people per site.

Vehicle & Trailer Parking: One vehicle is included per site. Additional parking for a second vehicle and/or trailer, as well as additional boat/trailer parking, can be reserved for a fee.

Pet Policy: Up to 2 pets allowed per site. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and not allowed to be left unattended.

Rig Requirements: Small Rigs Only. Rigs (Maximum 27 feet) must be entirely self-contained with a full bathroom, as no public bathhouse is provided on-site. Campers must be approved (Length and self-containment); therefore, instant booking is not accepted at this time.

Terrain Advisory: Guests must have an adequate tow vehicle. Accessing the property requires navigating a 1/4-mile paved 14-degree hill and a 5/10-mile gravel road. We have great paved roads from Highway 411 to Gator Point, featuring typical country curves on mostly easy grade roads. Just a few hills to maneuver.

Stay Limits: Standard stays are permitted for up to 14 days (longer stays may be granted by request).

Seasonality: Open for seasonal rental only from April through October.

Check-In/Out: Self check-in begins at 4:00 PM; check-out time is 12:00 Noon.
