Welcome to Gator Point on Douglas Lake
Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC proudly offers three remodeled, full hook-up campsites. These scenic back-in sites sit on the South Shore of Douglas Lake’s main channel. Opening in July 2026, they sit right next to our popular cabins and tiny homes. Consequently, you can host your entire group in one location. For example, some family members can stay in a cabin while others bring an RV.
Site Highlights and Amenities
You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay on the water. First, each site includes 20, 30, and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. Additionally, guests can launch boats directly from our private, on-property ramp. Furthermore, we offer dedicated boat slip options upon request for exploring Douglas Lake. You will also enjoy free Wi-Fi across all sites inside our secure, gated property. Finally, we enforce a strict no-campfire policy to keep the air fresh. Therefore, you can relax outdoors without heavy smoke hovering over your site.
Essential Requirements and Rig Info
These sites cater specifically to small, fully self-contained rigs. We do not offer a public bathhouse on-site. For this reason, your camper must feature a fully functioning internal bathroom. Moreover, we pre-screen every reservation for length and bathroom facilities. As a result, we do not allow instant bookings.
Rig size limits vary by site location. Specifically, Site #1 has a 21-foot maximum limit because of the steep incline. Although it is our shortest site and sits higher, it offers the best turning radius. Meanwhile, Site #2 and Site #3 accommodate rigs up to a 25-foot maximum.
Accessing Gator Point requires navigating a 1/4-mile, 14-degree paved hill and a 1/2-mile gravel road. However, paved county roads lead smoothly from Highway 411 to our entrance. Therefore, please bring an adequate tow vehicle.
Policies and Nearby Attractions
We maintain a quiet atmosphere for all guests. Specifically, we observe quiet time daily from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. In addition, each site includes parking for one vehicle. We welcome up to six guests and two leashed pets per site. However, you can reserve extra vehicle or trailer space for a small fee.
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. In addition, we proudly offer senior discounts. Standard seasonal stays run from April through October for up to 14 days. Finally, our convenient location puts you just 6 miles from Highway 411. Consequently, you can reach Sevierville in 20 minutes, Pigeon Forge in 30 minutes, and Gatlinburg in 45 minutes.
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7 AM
Pets must be kept on a leash.
Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in or out of the camper.
No Parties or Events are allowed.
You must have a tow vehicle that can handle 5/10 of a mile of gravel road and 1/10 of a mile of paved 14 degree sloped hill (straight-away).
