Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC

The owners of Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC have a long history on the internet with this site being first published in 1999.  They also have an even longer history on Douglas Lake.  The family started Gator Point Marina in the Mid- 80’s that ran for close to 30 years.  The overnight rental business grew from the addition of 4 cabins located on Gator Point in 1995.  In 2005, Lynda started her vacation lodging company (#113 in the state) so she could start renting homes for other owners.

28 years later,  a new change in marketing is a happening.  Due to the popularity of the site,  and declining multiple offers to purchase the URL/Company, she has decided to offer the chance to advertise to other hosts, owners and management companies so that even more lakefront rental homes can be found in the area.

Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC has provided excellent guest service throughout our many years of renting on Douglas Lake.  We have always put the guest and owner ahead of ourselves and this has proven to be a business model that we are very proud of and works due to our large percentage of repeat guests that come year after year.
